When you bring a little one with you to church, you can enjoy the service with peace of mind knowing they are being cared for by loving, experienced nursery workers. Nursery is provided during all services for children 0-2 years old. Our nursery has an infant section and a toddler section to keep bed babies and crawlers safe while allowing the toddlers to play freely.
Our nursery staff will lovingly interact with your child and provide a nurturing environment for them. Your child will enjoy playing in a clean, safe, and well-staffed nursery during their visit to Abilene Baptist Church.
During the Sunday morning service, we provide special children’s services for 3-4 year old and 5-12 year old children. Throughout the children’s church service your child will sing songs, memorize Bible verses, play games, and best of all hear a Bible message that is on their level and applicable to them.
Our staff provides a fun and exciting time for kids while also delivering clear Bible preaching each week. Children’s church is a great place for your child to start learning Biblical truths that they will use their entire life.
Our church bus ministry travels throughout the Abilene area every Sunday to offer people of all ages a ride to church. The ministry offers a Bible-based program that is both fun and practical for the youth of today. Your children will be supervised by experienced, well-trained staff from the time they walk out your door until they are escorted back to your home.
Along with all the great teaching from God’s Word, our staff provides a great time for the kids too! Every week each of our buses have promotions to encourage and excite the kids about church. On the bus, everything from ice cream sundaes to pickle-eating contests will be a part of their experience. Your kids are sure to come home with a smile every week.
